The Correlation Between Fecal Calprotectin And Ulcerative Colitisand And Chinese Medicine Qi-Yao Enema Efficacy Analysis

Objective:To investigate the correlation of fecal calprotectin and clinical alld endo一scopic manifestations in UC,While observing the Qi-yao enema or general encma for ulcerative colitis efficacy and faecal calprotectin its clinical effcacy evaluation.Methods:We recruited30patients with UC who were randomly diVided into trcatment group(n=15,Etiasa,1.0g,Po,three times a day,and Drip enema,80-100ml,Qn)and control group(n=15,Etiasa,1.0g,po,three times a day,and Qi-yao cnema80-100ml Qn).Before and after treatment,the clinical manifestations,the stool-routine+occult blood,the blood-routillc,ESR, CRP,Southerland disease aetive index(DAI),IBDQ and so on were observed and recorded.It is to assess the change of illness.ELISA assay was used to measure the colleentrations of fecal calprotectin.Results:The level changes of the ESR.CRP.Southerland DAI in UC who were treated with Qi-yao enema were signifcantly higher than geneal enema.the Qi-yao enema show dennite effect on sigmoid colon and above refractory ulcerative colitis.There was a high correlation (r=0.886p<0.01)between fecal calprotectin and endo-scopic manifestations in UC,and bcttcr than ESR.CRP.Conclusions:The fecal calprotectin can reflect the injury of intestine in UC accurately,and to a certain extent can make up for the lack of electronic fiber colonoscopy.The treatment of Qi-yao enema in UC,especially with distal1esion,has obVious advantages over general eneema and fccal calprotectin can be a good evaluation of its therapeutic effect.
