Objective:Due to<The guideline of prevention and treatment for chronic hepatitis B>(2010version), it was not suggested to make antiviral treatment of patients carried hepatitis B surface antigen, infected with mild chronic hepatitis B, or chronically infected with the hepatitis B virus. Traditional Chinese medicine intervention drugs and methods was presented in this shudy to try to solve these problems. Methods:First, the research on chronic hepatitis b patients who could not accept antiviral treatment was summarized in Chinese and western medicine. Simultaneously, the theory about preventive treatment of disease was summed up. The necessity of traditional Chinese medicine intervention treatment was presented with the preventive treatment of disease theory supported. Second, by means of411cases clinical epidemiology investigation on chronic hepatitis b patients who could not, the pathogenic characteristics and pathogenesis regularity was preliminarily analyzed. The types of patients invested were established by the preventive treatment of disease theory. Then the clinical characteristics and life status could be obtained. Thirdly, Professor Zhou Zhongying’s176clinical cases about chronic hepatitis B unable to accept antiviral treatment collected and collated. By analysis with the relevant statistical software, Professor Zhou’s clinical experience and academic thoughts were Summarized for laying the foundation of formulating prophylaxis and control plans with Chinese medicine. Results:Accounting to the epidemiological investigation,7.1percent of the patients had no obvious symptoms. The others had the order symptoms of fatigue, anorexia, yellow urinate, distension, nausea and vomiting, looking gloomy, ahypnia, bitter taste, chest discomfort threat. The pathogenesis factors of patients with clinical epidemiological investigation is in a state of intermingled deficiency and excess. The excess pathogenesis factors including dampness, heat, stagnation. The deficiency pathogeneses factors is Qi deficiency. Accounting to the Professor Zhou Zhongying’s clinical cases,5.68percent of the patients had no obvious symptoms. The main symptoms are yellow urinate, fatigue, dry mouth, loose stool, chest dull pain, chest pain, bitter mouth, hypochondriac pain in chest and stomach. In Professor Zhou Zhongying’s clinical cases, the pathogenesis factors’positions are liver, spleen and kidney. And its nature are dampness, heat, blood stasis, stagnation, toxin,Qi deficiency and Yin deficiency. The main combination of the drugs is Zhi jiangcan,Chanyi,Jianghuang,Shengma,Shenggancao,Huzhang. The use of frequency over25%of the drugs areCuchaihu,Chishao,Chuipengcao,Pugongying,Guangyujin,Huzhang,Yinchen,Baizhu,Zhixiangfu, Chaohuangqin,Danshen,Yexiazhu,Kushen,Taizishen,Houpu,Fuling,Zhigancao,Jianghuang, Conclusions:Chronic hepatitis B patients who could not accept antiviral treatment should be attributable to the scope of "Yu Bing"in Chinese traditional "Preventive Treatment of Disease"theory. The primary features of pathogenesis factors is lingering pathogen due to deficient vital qi.Specifically including Qi deficiency,Yin deficiency, dampness, heat, blood stasis, stagnation, toxin. And,they are always mingled with each other. The characteristics of prescription are pungent dispersion bitter purgation, treat with both elimination and reinforcement.Chinese medicine and Western medicine combined with reflected in Professor Zhou’s choice of drugs. On the basis of treatmenting based on syndrome differentiation,he always use the drugs which were shown to have antiviral effect.
