Objectiveto study benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) prevalence for the aged men above50in Tianjin. And analyse relative factors including special prostatic factors, aged metabolic factors, previous therapy preliminary analyze mechanism of action of the factors meanwhile to study their public health condition and to publicize prostatic disease knowledge.MethodsWe collect data of population—812male persons over50years old who are local residents in Tianjin while they are doing the physical examination from Feb to Dec,2011—by stratified cluster random sampling method. USE the way of internationally accepted questionary survey、Laboratory investigation、Imaging findings, specialized examination by urologist to acquire the date. Carry on cross—sectiona epidemiological prevalence surve on general conditions, Metabolic Syndrome(MS), history of heredopathia and present illness, biochemical indicator, Imaging findings, lifestyle were tested. Used EXCEL to establish database, and use SPSS18.0for statistical analysis. We focused on descriptive statistics to analyse prevalence rate, suffering age and so on. Ues single factor analysis to screen out the BPH effect factor. And unconditional multi-factor Logistic regression correlation analysises were the key point.Results1. The prevalence of BPH is25.12%over the age of50in GHHMC, the average suffering age is(69.75±9.832). The prevalence wasl2%、18.7%、31.4%、50%、59.3%、59.1%、66.7%、100%in50~,55~,60~,65~,70~,75~,80-85group。2. Prevalence of BPH in middle-aged men was significant correlations with age, smoking, sexual activity, history of DM, high Systolic pressure, waistline,PWV, PSA。Conclusionl. The prevalence of BPH is25.12%over the age of50in GHHMC, higher than previously expected levels.2.Age,smoking, sexual activity, history of DM, high Systolic pressure, waistline,PWV PSA may be the risk factors in GHHMC aged men,.3. Meanwhile, the prostatic disease knowledge level has close relationship with prompt BPH therapy rate, SO high risk group need to promote it, viapromoting education level and standardizing official public way. And rural medical insurance need to be improvement extremely in order to help peasants effectively.
