Objective : To investigate the advantages of use 1470 nm laser treatting the high risk patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted to investigate the clinical data of sixty-one high risk patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia patients who was used 1470 nm laser.Compare the changes of hemoglobin(Hb),International prostate symptom score(IPSS),quality of life score(QOL),residual urine volume(RU),maximum urinary flow rate(Qmax)before and after surgery. Results : The Operation time is 10-78 min with an average of 42 min.All patients pulled through perioperative period,No severe complications were reported, including transurethral resection(TUR)syndrome, urinary incontinence and massive haemorrhage. In the follow-up of 3 month,58 patients had a good recovery in urination function after operation.3 patients appeared urinary retention after three months of the operation. Conclusions: Using 1470 nm laser treatting the high risk patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia has many advantages, including less bleeding, minor wound and high security.etc.The high risk patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia pursue individuation mend in perioperative period,Strengthen the perioperative management, active treatment with disease, surgical treatment is safe and feasible.
