Objective:To explore surgical methods of secondary lip deformityafter bilateral cleft lip,and further improve the repair effect.Methods:The incision is made at the surgical scar edges of the upperlip.Reasonable design surgical method according to the patient’s owncondition and deformity.Maximum use of the surrounding tissueconditions to achieve the best surgical results.Surgery to remove scartissue, anatomy and reset orbicularisoris muscles, extend or shorten theupper lips, reconstruct philtrum, bow lips and lip beads, repair, repairvermilion defects, etc.The subjective and objective effects were evaluatedby three specialists right after the sutures moved.Results:The incision of ten patients was all healed. Followed up forthree months to three years, the shape of upper lip is basicallynormal.Scar is not obvious, and the height of upper lip is moderate, and bow lips and lip beads are natural. The anatomical structure of the upperlip close to normal. All patients get a good restoration results.Conclusion: Reasonable design surgical method according to thepatient’s own condition and deformity, and correct the bilateral cleft lipsecondary lip deformity, can reach the anatomy repair.The appearance isnatural coordination and the effect is stable and reliable.
