Object: To analyzed characteristics of atherosclerotic plaque in Kazak and Hanpatients with coronary heart disease in YiLi Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, and tocompare the characteristics of the two group. Method: Since2011June to2012December,185Kazak patients were collected continuously and185Han patients were selectedaccording to the sex ratio and different age stratified randomly with coronary heart diseasewhich were confirmed by DSCT coronary angiography, All the cases were analyzed aboutthe composition, location, severity of plaque and the number of coronary artery branchesinvolvement in plaque, and compare. Results:1) The peak prevalence rate ofatherosclerotic plaque was observed in LAD, RCA, LCX, and finally LMA. The highestrate of plaque compositions observed was NCAP.IN comparison with Han patients, theconstituent ratio of NCAP was higher in Kazak patients (P<0.05);2) In comparison withHan female patients, the constituent ratio of NCAP was higher, lumens stenosis was moresevere in Kazak female patients (P<0.05).3) The incidence ratio of plaque was lower inKazak patients than those of Hans in the age between40and49(P<0.05); In the agebetween50and59, comparison with Han patients, the constituent ratio of NCAP washigher, the constituent ratio of CAP was lower (P<0.05); In the age more than70, theconstituent ratio CAP was lower, the proportion of moderate stenosis of lumens was lowerin Kazak patients than those in Han patients (P<0.05). Conclusions: Coronaryatherosclerotic plaque characteristics showed differences in Kazak and Han patients. Theconstituent ratio of NCAP is higher in Kazak patients than that in Han patients, and higherin Kazak female patients than that in Han female patients. The lesion is more severe inKazak female patients than that in Han female patients. Prompt clinical work on theNCAP in primary prevention is particularly important.
