Objective: To compare the Narrow Gastric Tube (NGT) and the Whole Stomach(WS) reconstruction of the esophagus esophageal patients after total short-term curativeeffect. Methods: Retrospective analysis of esophageal surgery in97cases, of which52cases by the WS esophagus reconstruction,45cases by the NGT reconstruction of theesophagus. In two groups of patients with clinical indicators for comparison. Results:Two groups of patients in anastomotic fistula, chylothorax, recurrent laryngeal nervedamage and postoperative gastrointestinal decompression of the more time under nosignificant difference (P>0.05), in cardiopulmonary complications, the obstacles to thegastric emptying the complications and the postoperative hospitalization time, postoperative PaO2, daily average gastrointestinal decompression of two groups ofcomparisons of significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion: NGT reconstructionesophageal used in esophageal resection, and its recent curative effect is better than theWS reconstruction of the esophagus. Its more accord with normal physiological structure, can reduce postoperative complications, shorten the postoperative hospitalization time andhelp improve the quality of life after surgery, the long-term outcome needs furtherresearch.
