Objective To investigate the relationship between the different width of gastric tube and the esophageal minimally invasive Mc Keown postoperative,to find out the optimum range of the width of the gastric tube.Materials and Methods From Jan.2014 to Jan.2016 totally 244 patients with esophageal cancer according to the width of gastric tube were divided into group A(3?the width of gastric tube <4,93 cases)and group B(4?the width of gastric tube <5,84 cases)and group C(5?the width of gastric tube < 6,67 cases). To investigate the relationship between the above three groups of patients and clinical data, postoperative anastomotic fistula, late fistula, gastroesophageal reflux, pulmonary infection and gastric emptying dysfunction, compares and thoracic stomach syndrome. To investigate the relationship between the different width of gastric tube and the esophageal minimally invasive Mc Keown postoperative by using statistical tools. Results the research of above three groups, sex, age and tumor pathology, tumor stage and the preoperative serum albumin were no statistically significant(P?O.05),conform to the principle of randomized.Clinical data between group comparison shows:three groups were no statistically significant difference in the incidence of anastomotic stenosis(P?0.05);Group A compared with group B,C,anastomotic fistula, pulmonary infection, gastroesophageal reflux, emptying disorder and the incidence of thoracic stomach syndrome in group A were significantly lower than other groups, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion After the esophageal minimally invasive Mc Keown, comparison the width of gastric tube from 3-4 cm with the width of 4-6 cm,more beneficial to reduce the patients with early postoperative anastomotic fistula, late fistula, pulmonary infection, acid reflux, emptying disorder and the incidence of thoracic stomach syndrome.
