Implementation Of TCM Clinieal Pathway Of Chronic Renal Failure

Objective:Observed60cases of Chinese medicine clinical pathway for patients with chronic renal failure during the treatment process, evaluation of TCM clinical pathway of chronic renal failure on the number of days of hospitalization, medical expenses, and clinical efficacy.Method:Selected Wuhan City Hospital renal medicine2010.7-2011.10meet the conditions of the60cases of chronic renal failure patients were randomly divided into30cases of Chinese medicine clinical pathway group (test group)30cases with the conventional treatment group (control group). The control group treated traditionally, experimental group follow to develop good clinical path implementation of the treatment process, the statistical tests, were compared between the two groups the number of days of hospitalization, medical expenses, clinical efficacy, including TCM symptom score, and laboratory parameters.Results:â‘ Experimental group compared with the control group, length of stay reduced by an average of two days(P<0.05), The total medical costs tended to decrease (P<0.05); â‘¡The clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients were improved(P<0.05), However, the experimental group than the control group (P<0.05);â‘¢The experimental group and laboratory parameters of the control group, blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, glomerular filtration rate before and after treatment, a significant difference between the two groups have a certain effect; urea nitrogen between the two groups after treatment compared with the significant difference (P<0.05), the test group than in the control group is superior; after treatment, significant difference between the group of serum creatinine, glomerular filtration rate, is not comparable;â‘£TCM symptom score before and after the two groups of patients were comparable (P<0.05), Test group, the total efficiency higher than that in the control group.Conclusion:Implementation of TCM clinical pathway of chronic renal failure can be significantly shorter hospital stays, lower medical costs, improve quality of care, as opposed to the traditional treatment model for patients with better medical treatment.Implementation of TCM clinical pathway of chronic renal failure can enhance the interaction between physicians and nurses and better patient relationship.
