β-glucan is a non-starch polysaccharide, which has many biological activities, such as:antioxidation, immunostimulation. In order to clarify the effect of β-glucan on fecal flora,intestine morphological structure and non-specific immunological function of mice. Choosing120mice (which weight uniform, all male).The test random divided into four parts:One was control group, basic feed added0.1ml/10g(BW.d).d physiological saline. Two was test one:basic feed added50mg/kg(BW.d)β-glucan. Three was test two:basic feed added100mg/kg(BW.d)β-glucan. Four was test three:basic feed added200mg/kg(BW.d).To collect fecal samples at7,14,21,28days, blood samples at14,28days of test period. The sums of red cells and white cells, blood sugar level, fecal flora, intestine morphological structure, non-specific immunological function, anti-oxidation impact. Experiments show that:1.The sums of red cells,white cells and the blood sugar level value have no significant difference (P>0.05)2.The mice fed with β-glucan,compare with control group, the activities of β-D-galactosidase on fecal sample in treatment groups are increased.The beneficial microorganism lactobacilli significant promote, the counts of Escherichia coli reduce in treatment groups, comparing with control group.3.β-glucan can increase the Na+K+-ATPase and Ca2+Mg2+-ATPase activity of small intestine. But the length of small intestinal have no significant difference (P>0.05)4.The immunity organ result reveal that:after28d,the thymus index,200mg/kg(BW.d) experiment group is significant higher than that of control group (P <0.05),the spleen index of treatment three are significant higher than that of control group (P<0.05).The content of ACP in liver and in serum100mg/kg(BW.d) beta-glucan group is significant higher than control group (P<0.05). The content of lysozyme in of experiment groups are significant higher than that of control group(P <0.05)。The carbon clearance index of100mg/kg(BW.d) and200mg/kg(BW.d) beta-glucan experiment groups are higher than that of control group, the difference are significant (P<0.05). The phagocytic index of100mg/kg(BW.d) beta-glucan group are significant higher than that of control group (P<0.05).5.The activities of SOD,T-AOC in serum of treatment groups are significant higher than control group (P<0.05).The activities of GSH-px of treatment group100mg/kg(BW.d) and200mg/kg(BW.d) are significant higher than other groups (P <0.05).
