Objective Through the application of arthroscopic treatment of39cases of patients with anterior cruciate, ligament injury, to explore the application of LARS artificial ligament in arthroscopic treatment of anterior cruciate ligament (anterior cruciate ligament, ACL) complete injury for some theoretical guidance’ in clinical work.Method:We selected39cases of patients with anterior cruciate ligament injury from, the orthopedic Jilin Province People’s Hospital from January2005to January2011with retrospective study. The patients were performed arthroscopic LARS artificial ligament reconstruction and fully informed consent to treatment; There were27male,12female, aged22-57years old, average28years old.25cases, of left knee ACL were completely injured and right knee in14cases,0case of double knee. The cause of injury:34cases were injured due to sports while the other5cases were traffic accident. The score was got by preoperative application, of International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) score:class D in25cases,14cases of grade C; Lysholm knee function scores41or77points, an average of55.71points. Preoperative medical complications in2cases, multiple fractures in3cases, postoperative unheaiing in1cases, postoperative ligamentous laxity in0cases.All patients received postoperative early functional exercise, lower extremity deep vein thrombosis:a report of0cases. From the injuri to the operation time was two weeks to16months, an average of4weeks. Preoperative, patients all exist the different degree of ipsilateral knee pain, swelling with limb walking unliability and Other symptoms, including15cases of existence of the joints and interlocking symptoms. Follow-up time:6months to60months, the mean follow-up was23months.Operation time was assessment postoperative, also the postoperative complication rates and the knee function were followed up.The knee function was assessed functionally through Lysholm knee function evaluation standard, Results The application of LARS artificial ligament in arthroscopic treatment of anterior cruciate ligament complete injury satisfied us, Compared with conventional operation of autologous ligament reconstruction ACL complete injury, the. operation time was shorter, with statistical significance (p<0.05) Based on Lysholm score, all patients’s keen function after operation peformed well with early knee joint function exercise, less postoperative complications, Conclusion:LARS artificial ligament tissue compatibility is good, and is the ideal choice for anterior cruciate ligament graft material. LARS artificial ligament ACL arthroscopic reconstruction of complete injury had its advantages:good curative effect, less trauma, fewer complications and the knee function can recover early, also postoperative knee function can reach the normal requirements.
