The Influence Of Moxibustion Umbilical With Medicine On Primary Dysmenorrhea Of Different Severity Syndrome

Objective：The research aimed to observe the two methods on the symptoms of differentseverity in patients with primary dysmenorrhea by the way of two methods—the umbilicalmoxibustion with herbal medicine or with amylum.we evaluated differences in efficacy of twogroups, and observed the impact of drugs on the therapy results. Also the mechanism of action ofmoxibustion umbilical was illuminated.Method:98primary dysmenorrheal patients were randomly assigned to treatment andcontrol groups.There was24moderate cases and24serious cases in the treatment group.There were25moderate cases and25serious cases in the control group. The observablesymptom score before and after the treatment was recorded and compared.Result: Patients indicated positive effects after treatments in both group.Two groupswere compared.Among moderate cases,significant differences existed in the lowerabdominal pain in the second period and follow-up period, irritability in the third periodamong the moderate cases. Among serious cases,significant differences existed in thefatigue in the first period, lower abdominal pain from the the second period to thefollow-up period, leg pain in the third preiod, diarrhea in the follow-up period.Conclusion: Two groups with moderate and severe dysmenorrhea patients werecompared.The effect of improving abdominal pain, irritability, diarrhea in the treatmentgroup was better than it in the control group and long-term effect was good. The effect ofimproving leg pain, fatigue symptoms in the control group was better than it in thetreatment group.
