Clinical Observation Of Qingfei Bushen Method On Treating Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease In Acute Exacerbation

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Qingfei Bushen method in treatingchronic obstructive pulmonary disease in acute exacerbation of tenreshenxu syndrome andexplore its mechanism. Provide new clinical basis for Chinese medicine method ofAECOPD.Methods: According to randomized, controlled principle,60patients were dividedinto experimental group of30and control group of30.The experimental group was givenQingfei Bushen prescription combined with conventional western treatment.Control groupwere treated using conventional western treatment. The treatment lasted two weeks,patients were observed efficacy, symptoms and signs, arterial blood gas analysis,pulmonary function, laboratory tests, pulmonary artery pressure and adverse reactions.Results: Comparison of the total score of symptoms and signs:the two groups totalscore decreased significantly after treatment, the total score of the experimental grouplower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);Integrated effect of the two groups were compared, the experimental group was efficiencyof96.7%, control group was90.0%, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Blood gas a nalysis comparison:PaO2increased,PaCO2reduced after therapy,and therealso existed difference in these indices between the two groups after therapy(P<0.05);Usethe echocardiography to measure the value of pulmonary artery pressure, pulmonary arterypressure values were decreased after treatment (P <0.05),there ws no significant differencein the two groups after treatment,(P>0.05);Pulmonary function comparison:FEV1andFEV1/FVC%were increased significantly after treatment.The experimental group issuperior than the control group(p<0.05);Laboratory tests: the result of white blood cellcount, neutrophil percentage, and procalcitonin were significantly lower after treatment, the experimental group is superiorer than the control group (P <0.05).Conclusion: Qingfei Bushen prescription combined with conventional westerntreatment has good clinical efficacy in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acuteexacerbation of tenreshenxu syndrome, Its clinical efficacy is superior than theconventional western treatment. It can significantly improve patients’ clinical symptomsand signs, reduce pulmonary artery pressure, improve pulmonary function, and control thedisease as soon as possible.
