Objective:Clinical treatment for Diabetes mellitus with mild depression with the wayof Shugan Yangxin and Curative effect evaluation for it.Methods:60patients diagnosed Diabetes mellitus with mild depression wererandomly classified into two groups by registration order. In keeping their previoustreatment associated with diabetes mellitus unchanged circumstances, we give them samepsychotherapy. The treatment group were treated with Jieyu Jiangtang decoction, and thematched group were treated with placebo. Course of treatment is one month. After acourse of treatment, we compared fasting blood glucose,2hours postprandial bloodglucose and glycosylated hemoglobin between two groups,meanwhile,the points ofTraditional Chinese Medician(TCM)Symptom Accumulated, depression and DiabeticSpecific Health-related Quality of Life are also compared. We use SPSS17.0to analyzedata and there is evaluation on clinical effect of Shugan Yangxin therapy.Results:(1)Through the clinical observation, Intervention group is better than placebo inreducing fasting blood glucose(FPG),2hours postprandial blood glucose(2hPG)andglycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)(P<0.05).(2)Meanwhile, Intervention group is also superior to the control group for reducingdepression score, improvement of depression score(QOL)(P<0.05).(3)The safety inspection: During treatment, there are no changes in ectrocardiogram,and discernible changes are not found in Each Physiological Biochemistry Target. eanwhile,adverse reaction is not observed during this study. Conclusions:Therapeutic Effects of Shugan Yangxin therapy in Diabetes mellituswith mild depression is reliable. It is good at curative effect and worth clinical spreadapplication.
