Clinical Study On Treatment Of Central Exudative Choiroretinopathy With The Method Of Detoxicatim And Activating Blood And Water

Objective: From the character of central exudative chorioretinopathy, observe theclinical efficacy of the method of Detoxicating and Activating Blood and watertherapy to treat the central exudative chorioretinopathy(CEC).Through the clinical cases,we hope we can provide the basis for the method of Detoxicating and ActivatingBlood and water decoction used in clinical to curing CEC.Methods: The clinical data of28Patients (29eyes) with CEC who had followed upfor1.5months after therapy of Chinese medicine for CNV were analyzed. Observe andanalyze the changes of the best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)，vision, Amsler list, FundusFluorescein Angiography(FFA) and Optic coherent tomography(OCT)of pre-treatment andpost-treatment.Result: With the therapy method of Detoxicating and Activating Blood andwater, the total effective rate was93.1%.The result showed a great difference concerningthe vision of pre-treatment and post-treatment (P<0.05).The macular pathological changeswere ameliorated in some degree (P<0.05). The effective rate of Amsler list was85.19%.At the same time, the contrast sensitivity showed significantly increase after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with pre-treatment,the position of CNV changed(P<0.05).Conclusion: Chinese medicine of Detoxicating and Activating Blood and wateris an effective treatment for most Patients with CEC caused by CNV. It can increase thevision, the contrast sensitivity and Amsler list and reduce neovascularization leakage.
