Objective:To research the curative effect of point penetration method treating strephenopodia after cerebral infarction and evaluate its clinical value.Methods:60patients met the study inclusion criteria of strephenopodia after cerebral infarction were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, n=30cases. In addition to accept basic therapy, treatment group use point penetration method as the main cure, control group use regular acupuncture method, one time each day,ten days as one course of treatment, to evaluate curative effect after three courses of treatment. Before and in the end of treatment,we evaluate the degree of strephenopodia by the Modified Scandinavian stroke scale (MESSS) and Fugl-Meyer lower limbs motor assessment scale. The datum were analyzed by SPSS16.0software.Results:1.Before and after treatment the score of MESSS of two groups has significant difference (P<0.01), after treatment the differences of the scores of MESSS between the treatment group and control group has statistical significance (P<0.05).2.Before and after treatment the aggregate score of Fugl-Meyer lower limbs motor assessment scale of two groups has significant difference (P<0.01), after treatment the differences of the aggregate score of Fugl-Meyer lower limbs motor assessment scale between the treatment group and control group has statistical significance (P<0.05)3.After treatment the condition of strephenopodia between two groups has significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The point penetration method can improve the degree of neurologic impairment significantly and thus its curative effect is much better than control group. 2.The point penetration method can improve the lower limbs motor function and the degree of strephenopodia significantly and thus its curative effect is much better than control group.
