ObjectiveTo study the mechanism of scalp penetration acupuncture treating cerebral infarction.MethodsThe model of focal cerebral ischemia was made by blocking the middle cerebral artery with monofilament in rats. The middle cerebral artery occlussion rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: normal control group (groupA) , model group (group B) , point-to-point acupuncture group (groupC);The expression of synapsin was observed with immunohistochemistry method;The expression of neuronal growth associated protein 43mRNA was observed with reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction method.ResultsCompared with group B, the difference of the assessment of nervous function was signifficant among B and group C at 7d, 14d and 28d ( P<0.05 );Compared with group B, the expression of SYN in the ischemic penumbra was signifficant among B and group C at 7d, 14d and 28d ( P<0.05 );Compared with group B, the expression of GAP-43mRNA was signifficant among B and group C at 7d, 14d and 28d (P<0.05) . ConclusionsThe study proved that the therapy of scalp penetration acupuncture can increase the expression of SYN ,promote theexpression of GAP-43mRNA . This experiment provided theoretical basis to clinic.
