Objective:To contrast the difference of long-period clinical efficacy between patients with and without a history of periodontitis after implanted.Provide a theoretical basis for implant in periodontitis patients. Methods:First of all, Randomly select35patients having chronic periodontitis and32who do not have chronic periodontitis after implanted from2000to2007and there were40implants in each group marked as A and B.For lifecore implant marked A1and B1,for BLB implant marked A2and B2. Secondly, Record mobility, meliorate plaque index, modification sulcus bleeding index, papilla index score, probing depth, and calculate the implant survival rate of each group. Draw a conclusion after comparing the clinical parameters of implants in different groups.Result:1. There are no significant differences in the implant survival rate and the clinical parameters which were implanted before more than5years between chronic periodontitis group and without periodontitis group (p>0.05).2. There are no significant differences in the implant survival rate and the clinical parameters between chronic periodontitis group and without periodontitis group of lifecore implants (p>0.05).3. There are no significant differences in the implant survival rate and the clinical parameters between chronic periodontitis group and without periodontitis group of BLB implants (p>0.05).4. There is no significant difference in the clinical parameters which were implanted before more than5years between lifecore group and BLB group (p>0.05),except the probing depth (p<0.05).Conclusion:1. After periodontal treatment, patients with a history of periodontitis can be implanted, the effect of long-term clinical efficacy made no difference between patients whether having a history of periodontitis or not.2. There is no difference between lifecore and BLB implant in long-term clinical efficacy.
