Objective:In order to identify the effect of simvastatin combined with ginkgo leaf on coronary heart disease companied with abnormal blood lipid and carotid atherosclerotic plaque formation,we performed a systemtic clinical observation. Methods:A total of60cases of patients meet with the diagnostic criteria and the criteria for inclusion were seleceted from outpatient and inpatient department of Nanjing Liberation Army eightity one hospital range from December,2010to August,2011.This subjects were randomly divided into treatment group and control group through a random number table method. Each group contains30cases.the treatment group were given simvastatin (20mg,QN) combined with ginkgo leaf(1tablets,Tid) while the control group were treated with simvastatin (20mg,QN) alone. Both of the two group were treated for6months.during the treatment process, the blood lipid level of all the subjects would be evaluated every three months.After6months of treatment, both the blood lipid level and Plaque area would be assessed. The side effects of drug should be observed and recorded too during the treatment period. Results:After given the lipid-lowering therapy for3months and6months,the lipid levels of both the treatment group and control group were improved than before treatment(P<0.01). Compared with the control group, after3months of treatment, the level of TC, TG and LDL-C between the two groups had no statistically significant (P>0.05), indicating no significant difference between the two group, but the HDL-C level of treatment group were elevated compared with control group (P<0.05); After6months treatment, the treatment group TC, TG, LDL-C level lower HDL-C levels were significantly increased (P<0.05), the plaque area level of treatment group lower than control group after treatment, but do not have significance statistical difference (P>0.05)Conclusion:Combine Simvastatin with Ginkgo biloba can be effective not only in reducing the TC, TG and LDL-C level, but also in increasing the HDL-C level of patients with CHD; To a certain extent, Ginkgo biloba, and simvastatin has a synergy in the narrowed carotid artery atherosclerotic plaque area. |
