Clinical Study On Clearing Away Heat And Eliminating Dampness Had A Good Clinical Effect On The Therapy Of NAFLD Of Hepatochlic Hygropyrexia Syndrome

Objective:to observe the clinical effect and safety of treating Non-Alcoholic Simple Fatty Liver(NAFL) with clearing away heat and eliminating dampness.Methods:45patients who were diagnosed with NAFL of hepatochlic hygropyrexia syndrome were randomly divided into two groups,23cases in treatment group and22cases in control group, all the patients in both groups should stop using any drugs for fatty liver at least2weeks. The groups of patients were required to not only control weight and blood glucose, but also keep proper diet and motion. At the same time, the treatment group was treated with TCM of clearing away heat and eliminating dampness method (the main herbs were Qinhao, Huangqin, Yinchen), while the control group was treated without drugs. And the course of treatment for both groups was3months. The improvement of symptoms, clinical efficacy, serum biochemical index of liver function and imaging changes were compared between two groups.Results:The effective rate were95.7%in treatment group and63.7%in control group, the effective rate of two groups showed significant difference, the function of treatment group was obviously better than that of control group (P<0.05). The eradication rates of main symptoms in treatment group(such as right rib uncomfortable or dull ache, distention, poor apetite, nausea, bitter mouth, red tongue with yellow greasy coating,sleepy fatigue) were55.6%、75.0%、87.5%、90.9%、87.5%、91.3%、60.8%, which were10.3%、36.7%、47.1%、53.1%、55.6%、63.6%、40.9%in control group. The eradication rates of two groups showed significant difference (P<0.01). After treatment, the TC, TG decreased in treatment group, while no decreasing in control group, There was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05). The eradication rates of imaging performance was56.5%in treatment group and27.2%in control group, which had made a remarkable improvement (P<0.01).Conclution:clearing away heat and eliminating dampness had a good clinical effect on the therapy of NAFLD of hepatochlic hygropyrexia syndrome.
