The Pathogenic Toxin’s Pathopoiesia And Treatment Study Of The Active Ulcerative Colitis

Objective:With the clinical analysis of The Ulcerative Colitis, this study discusses the nosogenesis and treatment of the disease from the "toxin". We want to explore the new pathogeny and pathology of Traditional Chinese Medicine and therapeutic theory. From this, we can raise the clinical efficacy, reduce the complication, cut down the course of the disease.Methods:We collect the active ulcerative colitis cases in spleen-stomach disorder subject of JiangSu Province hospital of Chinese medicine during January to December in2011. Then we formulate the inclusion criteria of the case. In these cases, we screen out97eligible ones, and arrange the clinical data. To adopt the retrospective study, we observe the clinical manifestations in keeping with "toxin" of these cases. Finally, we summarize the medicines and the compatibility of medicines in point with "toxin", and discuss the pathogenesis of "toxin".Results:Toxin is an important pathogenic factor of the active ulcerative colitis. At the course of the disease, we can find the manifestations of toxin and it’s combining evils. With the treatments of this disease, herb prescriptions contain these:disintoxication (clearing away heat and toxic material, removing pattogenic heat from the blood and toxic material from the body, removing damp and toxin, dispelling wind and toxin, clearing away toxic and destroying parasites), elimination of toxin (diuresis and expelling toxin, eliminating turbidity by purgation), antitoxic methods (tonifying qi to virussafe, nourishing Yin to virussafe). In these methods, clearing heat and drying damp, cooling the blood and resolving blood-stasis and toxin are going to be the nucleus, multi-laws use simultaneously.Conclusion:Toxin is the important pathogenic factor of the active ulcerative colitis. At the course of the disease, we can find the manifestations of toxin. As a result, we should attach importance to the use and the compatibility of medicines interrelated with toxin. On the treatment of "toxin" is meaningful to a certain extent.
