Purpose:explore the relevance between serum ferritin with the stype2Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy Patients’ Electromyographic change、Toronto Clinical Score and the clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome, help for the Clinical diagnosis and treatment of type2Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy.Method:Collect the103patients from2010to2011admitted to hospital in Shanghai Longhua Hospital of Endocrinology, the diagnosis is type2diabetes、Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN).Record their main Observation index, Electromyographic and the DPN Toronto Clinical Score.Results:1.The research shows that there is no significant difference between the results of electromyopraphy in patients with peroneal nerve, sural nerve conduction velocity and SF (P>0.05).103DPN patients are divided into two groups of "nerve conduction velocity and amplitude decreased group" and "normal nerve conduction velocity and amplitude group" which prompted the Electromyogram (EMG) report. The result show:Two sets of SF statistically significant difference (P=0.016), and the SF of EMG suggest that nerve conduction velocity and amplitude decreased is higher than the normal.2.The research shows that the patients with SF and Toronto scoring difference are not statistically significant (P>0.05)3.The correlation study between the Type2Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy and its Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome(1) In this study, among103DPN patients, the syndrome of Stagnation of phlegm and blood stasis is36.89%; syndrome of Yin deficiency and blood stasis is27.18%; syndrome of Qi deficiency with blood stasis is17.48%; syndrome of Cold Retention and blood stasis and Liver-kidney depletion accounted for10.68%and7.77%.(2) In this study,103patients are divided into five types of syndrome:Qi deficiency with blood stasis、Yin deficiency and blood stasis、Cold Retention and blood stasis、Stagnation of phlegm and blood stasis、Liver-kidney depletion.(3) In this study, the TCSS score with the five syndrome types difference are statistically significant (P=0.008).the score of the syndrome of Cold Retention and blood stasis is the highest, the syndrome of Qi deficiency with blood stasis is the lowest. There is significant difference between the score of the syndrome of Cold Retention and blood stasis and Qi deficiency with blood stasis (P=0.002),also between the score of the syndrome of Yin deficiency and blood stasis and Cold Retention and blood stasis (P=0.001)4.In this study, using a linear correlation analysis with patients between SF and Urinary albumin/Urine creatinine (mALB/ucr), the results show:correlation coefficient==0.206, P=0.046, it is statistically significant. It sounds SF and mALB/ucr exists a linear correlationship.5.In this study, five syndromes has statistically significant difference with BMI (P<0.001), among them, the highest BMI is patients who are the syndrome of Stagnation of phlegm and blood stasis, the syndrome of Liver-kidney depletion is the minimum, the syndrome of Stagnation of phlegm and blood stasis and the remaining four groups are statistically significant (P<0.001, P<0.001, P=0.045, P=0.001)Conclusion:The Type2Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy patients with abnormal Electromyographic results have a high level fo SF value. It indicate that SF for the diagnosis, treatment and changes of The Type2Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy has a certain reference value.
