BackgroundHyperthermia is one of common clinical emergency Symptom. Hyperthermia can cause metabolism disorder and the human body system function disorder, And is badly in need of adopt measures to cool down. In recent years, traditional Chinese medicine bath cooling literature were also reported, such as compound Yinbo ethanol antipyretic liquid, perilla frutescens extract. The effect is both better than traditional ethanol bath and warm water bath, clinically proven effective in any febrile patients. Modern pharmacological research shows that, Chinese traditional medicine bath agent can inhibit the increasing of body febrile central regulating substance CILH, while increasing the negative regulation substance AVP. The drug is absorption through the skin, which make it absorption fast, effect in the brain fast. therefore, to maintain a quickly and lasting effects. In preparation type, other researchers Chinese medicine bath preparation is using the traditional decoction, ethanol infusion, long time of boiling water immersion. The preparing method is complex, tedious, and limit its clinical promotion and application.PurposeThis research is a randomized controlled clinical study in hyperthermia patients and sepsis hyperthermia patients, Through on observing the clinic effect of " speeding Chinese medicine powder" bath, which is made by Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese medicine famous Professor Liu Weisheng, It is expect to speeding Chinese medicine powder" bath cooling hyperthermia patients become conventional treatment, expand the range of clinical application of Reducing temperature with Chinese medicine. MethodThis study is a clinical random control study on patients with hyperthermia. It is a randomized controlled clinical trials, ethanol bath for the control group," speeding Chinese medicine powder" bath for the experimental group, with38cases in each. Two groups of patients were given routine treatment combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine, do not use antipyretic analgesic drug to decrease temperature. Two groups use the same bath method and sequence, during the bath, patient’s head with an ice pack, foot with hot water bag. The experimental group with Professor Liu Weisheng experience prescription, while the control group using conventional ethanol bath. The ethanol concentration is30%, temperature of30℃. Main outcome in patients with body temperature, which is observed each time in the bath, bath after30minutes,1hour,2hours,3hours; evaluation of antipyretic effect, sustained, stable. And complications:chills, body temperature rebound, chapped skin. And compared with the temperature between the two groups patients who diagnosis of sepsis. By test personnel using the SPSS11.0statistical software for data statistics analysis, measurement data based on mean±SD, T test statistic, count data using statistical chi-square test.Result1.3hours after bath, the two groups of patients with hypothermia have significant difference (P<0.05).2. The experimental groups and control group have significant difference (P<0.05) in body temperature rebound and chapped skin.3. experimental groups of patients with sepsis in2hours,3hours temperature drops more than that of the control group of patients with sepsis, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).4. The control group of sepsis patients with high fever in the immediate heart rate and bath after2and3hour heart rate was significantly higher in the experimental group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion The " speeding Chinese medicine powder" bath on patients with hypothermia modestly effective, particularly effective in the3hours after bath as compared to the control group. The " speeding Chinese medicine powder" bath on patients with hypothermia is better than he control group in body temperature rebound and chapped skin. The " speeding Chinese medicine powder" bath on sepsis patients with high fever cooling is more effectively than common febrile patients. The test groups of sepsis patients with high heart rate than the control group after the bath stability...
