The Prel Iminary Investigation On Correlation Between Tubal Blockage Of Blood Stasis Type And Constitution Of TCM

Objective:Guidance by the theory of TCM constitution, use the clinical epidemiology investigation methodology to discuss the distribution of TCM constitution in female infertile patients of tubal blockage of blood stasis type and susceptible constitution, discuss the relationship between constitution factors and blocked fallopian tubes infertility, in order to offer new ideas for this disease treatment and prevention.Methods:To investigate62cases of female infertile patients of blocked fallopian tubes (case group) and70cases of normal reproductive women without infertility history (control group) the self-made general questionnaire and classification of TCM constitution table that created by Professor Qi Wang. Analyze the distribution of TCM constitution in two groups and clinical data.Results:1. The frequency of each TCM constitution in case group (62cases of female infertile patients of tubal blockage of blood stasis type) was as follows: Yang deficiency constitution (22.58%)> Qi stagnation constitution (17.74%)> Blood stasis constitution (16.13%)> Normal constitution (12.90%)> Qi deficiency constitution (9.68%)> Phlegm-dampness constitution (6.45%)> Yin deficiency constitution (6.45%)> Damp-heat constitution (4.84%)> Special constitution (3.23%). It was thus clear that Yang deficiency constitution, Qi stagnation constitution and Blood stasis constitution were in the highest proportion.2. The frequency of each TCM constitution in control group (70cases of normal reproductive women without infertility history) was as follows:Qi deficiency constitution (20.00%)> Yang deficiency constitution (17.14%) > Normal constitution (12.86%)> Damp-heat constitution (12.86%)> Qi stagnation constitution (10.00%)> Yin deficiency constitution (8.57%)> Phlegm-dampness constitution (8.57%)> Blood stasis constitution (5.17%)> Special constitution (4.29%). It was obvious that Qi deficiency constitution, Yang deficiency constitution and Normal constitution were the most common ones.3. Comparing the distribution of TCM constitution in two groups, there were significant distinctions in the people of Blood stasis constitution (P<0.05), indicating that it was more probable for females of Blood stasis constitution to suffer from infertility of tubal blockage of blood stasis type.4. The older the female infertile patients of tubal blockage of blood stasis type were, the more inclined they formed Blood stasis constitution.5. The patients with more than five-year course of disease were more probable to have biased constitution, and they were more inclined to be of Blood stasis constitution and Qi stagnation constitution.6. Although there were no significant distinctions between the location of fallopian tube block and TCM constitution, interstitial infarction were in the highest proportion.7. There were obvious distinctions of exercise habits between case group anc control group.8. The menstrual phenomenon of case group and control group, there were very significant distinctions in irregular menstrual cycle, less menstrual amount, menstruation with coagula, dark menstrual color and algomenorrhea (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. It was more probable for females of Blood stasis constitution to suffer from infertility of tubal blockage of blood stasis type.2. The susceptible constitution of female infertile patients were Yang deficiency constitution, Qi stagnation constitution and Blood stasis constitution.3. Female infertile patients of tubal blockage of blood stasis type of elder in age, longer in course were more likely to form Blood stasis constitution.4. Female infertile patients of tubal blockage of blood stasis type were more likely to have interstitial infarction in the location of fallopian tube block.5. Menstrual disordered was common in female infertile patients of tubal blockage of blood stasis type.6. Combined with differentiation of individual embodies, establish individual scheme of constitution conditioning have positive significance on the treatment and prevention of infertility of tubal blockage of blood stasis type.
