Acupuncture therapy is important part of Chinese medicine with unique effects in the treatment of functional disease, but there is still no strict evidence-based medical evidence for effectiveness of acupuncture therapy in IBS. The etiology and pathogenesis of IBS is still unclear and there is no ideal treatment so far. Objective:To evaluate the effect of using catgut embedding therapy with modification treatment of diarrhea—irritable bowel syndrome(liver—stagnation and spleen-deficiency type). Methods:According to plan, We just divide60patients with diarrhea—irritable bowel syndrome(liver—stagnation and spleen—deficiency type) randomly into treating groups and controlling group,30patients in treating group, the treating group was treated by catgut embedding therapy and Trimebutine Maleate, the control group was treated by Trimebutine Maleate only. Other drugs are forbidden during the test. The course of treatment is planned to be2weeks, drugs are forbidden one week before the test and after treatment were compared between two groups improvement of clinical symptoms, to evaluate the efficacy and safety. Results:This trial showed that catgut embedding therapy on liver depression and spleen diarrhea—predominant IBS abdominal pain, diarrhea has a good role in mitigation, and for each gender, liver depression and spleen deficiency of all ages with moderate to severe diarrhea IBS. In short, catgut embedding therapy is the treatment of diarrhea-predominant IBS quality, efficacy, effective, and fewer adverse reactions, and drug resistance does not occur, is a greenmethod of treatment, the clinical application value. |
