With the bio-psycho-social medical model, improve quality of life of patients with malignant tumor treatment has become increasingly important issue, clinicians gradually realized the importance of quality of life assessment. Therefore, the use of traditional Chinese medicine in palliative treatment of advanced liver cancer comprehensive treatment is the main component, but there had been no rigorous evidence to prove its efficacy. For further evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine in palliative care clinical safety and effectiveness of the application, the research according to the Cochrane system evaluation requirements for nearly10years at home and abroad on the application of traditional Chinese medicine in palliative treatment of advanced primary liver cancer review system evaluation and Meta analysis, for traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of advanced liver cancer with evidence-based medicine. Objective:vSystem evaluation of TCM the palliative treatment of advanced primary liver cancer; grasp evidence-based medicine analysis method. Method:By means of computer retrieval of Chinese periodical net (CNKI), Chinese hiomedical databases (CBM), Chinese science and Technology Periodical Full-text Database (VIP Chinese Journal Database), Wanfang database database of China and abroad have published literature, Strict inclusion and exclusion criteria, collect information about traditional Chinese medicine in the-treatment of advanced hepatocellular cancer palliative support randomized controlled trials, and Meta analysis, draw the conclusion. Results:All the methodological quality of the studies evaluated only1for B, the others all is the C level, we included38articles. Meta analysis shows, Chinese palliative care can significantly improve the efficacy of tumor LOR=2.01,95%CI1.68-2.40, P<0.00001]; improve the quality of life of pationts [OR=3.01,95%CI2.45-3.69, P<0.00001], improve clinical symptoms [OR5.07,95%CI3.68-6.99,P<0.00001], prolongation of survival during the first half of the year:[survival rate (OR=2.02,95%Cl1.52-2.67, P<0.00001),the1year survival rate:(OR=2.57,95%C12.02-3.26, P<0.00001), the2year survival rate:(OR=2.6,95%CI1.80-3.74, P<0.00001)]; reduce the white blood cell count decline [OR=0.36,95%CI0.27-0.46, P<0.00001]. The " funnel plot" graphics show the presence of publication biasConclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine for palliative treatment of advanced primary liver cancer has certain curative effect and advantage. But at present the relevant randomized controlled study in methodology application still has difference, make the argument strength limit. This conclusion needs to be high quality randomized controlled clinical studies further confirm.
