The Clinical Research Of Two Chentang Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined Cycle Therapy Treatment For Obese Type Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

ObjectiveThis study takes it as fundamental that two Chentang can improve phlegmy wet constitution of the obese patients, and according to the growth of Yin and Yang transform rule in female menstrual cycle to adjust treatment. Through Diagnosis and treatment the obese type polycystic ovarian syndrome patients, to observe the clinical efficacy, so as to find an effective agent for the disease.Methods42obese type PCOS patients were randomly divided into two groups. They were from the traditional Chinese medicine clinic of Shilin District in Taipei, and were conform to the inclusion criteria. The treatment group including22cases were given two Chentang and traditional Chinese medicine combined cycle therapy (tonifying Kidney and regulate menstrual cycle). They were given the scientific power of traditional Chinese medicine named Two Chentang4g and semen cassiae1g、hawthorn1g, lotus leaf1g. Adding the ZuoGui pill5g to tonify kidney-yin in the postmenstrual; Tonifying Yin and activating blood should be combined during oviposit period so as to promote ovulation, plus Tulip lg,safflower1g.YouGui pill5g was given to fill kidney-Yang in the premenstrual. Taohong Siwu Tang5g was taking in menstrual period. This was the dose of a day, and it was divided into three times to take after meals. Take seven days each period. If the menstruation still did not appear when finishing the first cycle menstruation, please continue the second cycle. The20cases of control group were given only traditional Chinese medicine cycle therapy(the same to treatment group). Above two groups according to different symptoms concurrently to add and subtract the Chinese medicine. if ovarian increase coated thick appeared, plus Fritillaria thunbergiiwere, bile arisaema, Gleditsia sinensis;congenital dysplasia plus Placenta Hominis Fluoritum; cold limbs plus the prepared aconite roots, Cinnamon; gentle disposition depression plus radix bupleuri, Tulip, Silktree Albizzia Bark.3months for a period of treatment, need to take1-2course of treatment. While to observe the change of menstruation, weight, BBT in the period of treatment.Results1. The total effective rate of treatment group22cases was72.7%, The total effective rate of control group20cases of was65%, so the difference of total effective rate of two group was not statistically significant (P>0.05);2. After treatment, the difference of disappearing rate of the late period, mild menses, acne between two groups was statistically significant (P<0.01);3. After treatment, the BBT effective rate was77.27%in the treatment group, and the effective rate of the control group was50%. The difference between them was statistically significant (P<0.01), displaying that treatment group had better curative effect than control group.4. After treatment, the total effective rate of BMI in the treatment group was81.8%, the total effective rate of40%in the control group, so the difference between them was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion1. Two groups of treatment phlegmy wet obese type polycystic ovarian syndrome all had good curative effect.2.The treatment group could improve the late period, scanty periods, acne and symptoms of phlegmy wet obese type PCOS patients better than those in the control group.3. The improvement of the BBT of The treatment group was better than that in the control group.4. The improvement of the BBT of The treatment group was better than that in the control group.
