Objective:To analyze the effectivenesss and security of non-asisted integrated coiling technique in treating wide-necked anterior communicating artery aneurysm with large daughter sac. Methods:From May2010to March2012,12wide-necked anterior communicating artery aneurysms with large daughter sacs were treated by non-asisted integrated coiling technique. Characteristic and therapic results of aneurysms and daughter sacs were retrospectively analyzed.Results:In12wide-necked anterior communicating artery aneurysms with large daughter sacs, the average neck-to-body ratio was0.85, the smallest ratio was0.7, the largest ratio is1.0.10aneurysms(83.3%) were totally occluded,2aneurysms(16.7%) were neck remnant.7aneurysms(58.3%) were rechecked by DSA after4to15months(average8.7months), all were totally occluded. Conclusion:The preliminary experience and clinical results of non-asisted integrated coiling technique for the treatment of intracranial wide-necked anterior communicating artery aneurysm with large daughter sac are highly encouraging. It could be an alternative treatment for selected cases.
