Objective:Analyse the clinical efficacy and adverse reaction of Ilepcimide inchildren with partial seizures.Methods:1.66cases with partial seizures patients were collected from March2011to March2012,all the patients were hospitalized in the departmentof pediatric neurology of the first hospital of JiLin Univresity and theytook Ilepcimide only. We divided all the children into two groups:2~5years old for young group, a total of27cases;5~15years old for theolder group, a total of39cases.2. The use of Ilepcimide and added amount method: all the patientswere started at a dose of approximately5mg/kg/day. The dose was titratedup with5mg/kg/day in one week if the outbreaks were poorly controlled, the hightest doses was10mg/kg/day, but the maximum daily dose was notmore than300mg/day.3. Curative effect evaluation standard: compared the attack frepuencyaffer the treatment of Maintenance phase with the base period:①No accack ascontral;②The accack frequency decreased by75%than base period as marklyimproved;③The accack frequency decreased by50%than base periodaseffective;④Attack frequency reduced less than50%as invalid;⑤Attackfrequency increased by more than25%as worse. The top three are judged to beeffective.4. Safety assessment: Investigate the situation of all the patients during the first six months of followed-up. All the patients came back for the first futherconsultation after taking the drug for four weeks, and one futher consultationwas taking every two months in the followed time. The blood routine test, urineroutine test, liver function test, kidney function test, electrolyte, electrocardiogram were detected in the futher consultation. The attacks, drugdosage, side effects of all the patients were recorded in the follow-up.Results:1.66cases of patients were enrolled in our study,2~5years old foryoung group,a total of27cases;5~15years old for the older group, atotal of39cases. The average follow-up period was6months.2. Effective rate and contral rate of the young group after takingIlepcimide for three months respectively was62.96%,40.74%; and the oldgroup respectively was64.10%,41.03%. The effective rate and contral rate ofthe young group after taking Ilepcimide respectively is62.96%,40.74%; andthe old group respectively is64.10%,41.03%.3. All the patients took the blood routine test, urine routine test, liverfunction test, kidney function test, electrolyte, electrocardiogram detect beforetaking the drug and after taking the drug for4weeks,3months,6months. Allthe index were normal during the course of treatment. There were10cases hadadverse reaction,3cases came from the young group,7cases came from theolder group, the ratio separately is4.55%,10.61%. The main adverse reactionsare tired, drowsiness, nausea, poor appetite, stomach discomfort.4. There was no children stop using the drug because of the untoward effect orother reasons in the r follow-up process process.
