Background and Objective:AKI is always found in the clinical ofdifferent departments, which is considered as the common clinical severedisease,Although the studies have made significant progress in its diagnosisand treatment. In recent years, as many invasive techniques and surgicaloperations carrying out,the abuse of nephrotoxicity, the rate of mortality do notdecline obviously. This study retrospectively analyzes clinical data of436patients with AKI,such as the etiology, clinical manifestation, prognosis andimpact factors of acute kidney injury(AKI) among hospitalized patients in ourhospital,in order to be useful for early diagnosis and treatment or improvingprognosis.Methods:436acute kidney injury patients in our hospital from Jan,2008to Dec,2011were studied retrospectively.Results:1. The patterns of436AKI patients were pre-renal AKI(35.1%),renal parenchymal AKI(52.1%),post-renal AKI(12.8%).160caseswere senile AKI, accounting for36.7%.2.From2008to2009,majority causeof AKI were drugs, infection and EHF;The main etiologies of AKI changesfrom2009to2011. The incidence of CIN and RPGN has increased,in contrastto EHF.3.The overall mortality of AKI was25.9%, and the mortality for agedpeople was even higher(30.0%).4.The mortality in renal substitutive therapygroup (7.3%)was lower than that in conservative therapy group(18.6%)(P <0.05).Conclusion:1.The etiology and prognosis of AKI is different betweendifferent age group.2.The incidence of CIN and RPGN has increased, whichshould be noticed.3. The mortality of aged inpatients, especially with many diseases and MSOF are even higher.4.The prognosis of renal substitutivetherapy group was better than conservative therapy group.
