The doctor-patient relationship in China became a social problem along withChina’s social transition and marketization process. Modern doctor-patientrelationship is continuously tend to be nervous, and developing rapidly. The relationsbetween doctor and patient became the focus of attention during the transition period inChinese society. Social transformation is a big improvement project under the changesin social system and social structure, and the overall structure of society began tochange with the globalization of the economy. In this process, physician-patientrelationship presents a dynamic process of change. The purpose of this study is toanalyze the doctor-patient relationship in the background of social transformation,trying to explore the structural factors of the formation of doctor-patient relationshipfrom the perspectives of the marketization of medical system process, the doubleproperties of medical institutions and market and the medical doctors’ behavior underthe business competition conditions,which mainly include the relationship of healthcare resources and population structure; the differentiation of Medical service needsdecided by social differentiation;continuation of the socialist tradition; the impact ofmarketization medical institutions; the limited nature of the Chinese medical insurancesystem. The doctor-patient relationship is the most sensitive nerve, which used tounderstand social transformation and reflect the linkage relationship between Systemtransformation and social interest relations. The changes of the doctor-patientrelationship is also the most obvious reflect of social benefit structure. So, the studyof the doctor-patient relationship has very important practical significance.Through literature study and survey methods, the study found the doctor-patientrelationship exists discordant elements, mainly in that the health insurance is notsound, whose reimbursement coverage, reimbursement amount, hospitalization time limitsneed to improve,this will be able to bring benefits for more patients and to resolve thesubstantive issues. Harmonious doctor-patient relationship is a normal state, and willgetting better and better. The contemporary doctor-patient relationship has not beenexperienced in the history of China and fully marketization countries. However, as a people-oriented career, why it lose the sacred aura of the past and become condemned? Why thedoctor-patient relationship come into the case of right and wrong, this researchattempts to explore the constraints of the doctor-patient relationship in contemporaryChina through the analysis of the structural factors affecting the physician-patientrelationship, and explore specific strategies for the coordination of physician-patientrelationship on this basis through the interpretation of the great social scene puttingthe doctor-patient relationship into the background in the social revolution.
