CIPP Mode In Nursing Practice Skill And Operation Evaluation Of The Application

Research purposesThis research aims at structuring the nursing practice evaluation system accord withthe requirements of the present nursing profession, for the schools providing referencestandards to cultivate qualified nursing talents, meanwhile for the schools to provideadvices to make the teaching plans and improve the teaching content.Research objects1. Select 20 experts working at nursing education, nursing management and clinicalnursing as the research objects from the Experts Consultation method.2. In the nursing practice skill and operation evaluation process, select a total of 280students of 2007 undergraduate and 2010 specialized subject to bachelor degree inshanxi medical school of nursing training center to concentrate training cycle as theresearch object.Research methodsApply literature analysis to build the theoretical basis, basic principles and earlyindicators intended of nursing practice evaluation system,; Apply the Delphi expertconsultation method to screen indicators; Apply AHP to determine the weight of theindex system; Use Cronbach coefficient to make indicator system reliability testing;Apply Excel2003 and SPSS17.0 statistical package to process the data for the nursingstudents test resultsResearch results1.This subject confirms nurse ,patient preparation, preparation of property and theenvironment, operating techniques, ability to cope with Humanities quality, materialprocessing, personal hygiene, operating records and the overall quality of the ninemajor categories of indicators for the structure and hierarchyevaluation, including 9one-class indexes, 30 level 2 indexes,34 level 3 indexes. The two investigationsrevealed that the central tendency of the experts on the index assignment is even moreobvious, the coefficient of variation tends to reduce the coordination coefficient tendsto increase, This indicates that the degree of coordination of the expert views of theindicators was gradually increased, the screening of the indicators is reasonable.Apply AHP software to determine the weight values of the indicators at all levels, thecombined weights of the indicators at all levels on the probability of multiplication principle, see Appendix.2. The choice of expert group is reasonable, and the investigation results arecredible.Through the qualitative analysis with the basic information of the subjectexperts and the quantitative analysis of the degree of expert authority (the authority ofthe expert group coefficient is 0.840), the results show that the Group is representative,hierarchical and authoritative. Recovery rate of the consultation questionnaire is 80%and 100%, shows the highly motivation of the experts in this study. The coordinationcoefficients of the investigation results are 0.214 and 0.147 (P <0.01), indicatingexperts’advices are on a better coordination. Therefore, the experts’forecast is basedon the theoretical basis and practical experience, with a higher credibility, the resultsare advisable.3. Evaluation index system has good reliability，Through the calculation Cronbach’salpha > 0.60, so the index of the internal reliability of the study is fine.4.The undergraduate students and the specialized subject to bachelor degree studentshave different emphasis on the knowledge of the existence of degree, it has thesignificant difference(P＜0.05), so in the teaching based on students’ different situationto adopt different teaching plan and content. Score lower mainly concentrated in theoperation process, the contingency ability and self protection.Conclusion1. This subject applies the Delphi method and AHP. After two rounds of experts’investigation, it forms the evaluation index system including a 9 first level indicators,30 second level indicators, 34 third level indicators, in which the first level weight ,from high to low as follows: Nurses preparation (0.2134), patient preparation (0.1672),operation techniques (0.1175), resilience (0.1175), personal hygiene (0.1175), materialprocessing (0.0863), humanistic qualities (0.0655), the operating records and overallquality (0.0655), property and the environment preparation (0.0497).2. Use nursing practice skill and operation evaluation table to assess the upgradedstudents, they score below 80 points in 50% of the level 2 items, below 60 in 6.67%of the items. To the undergraduate students, 6.67% of the items below 80 points arescored, and nobody doesn’t pass .Analyse and compare the scores, it appearssignificant difference.The innovation of this research1. Revise and perfect the nursing practice and skill of operating evaluation system,and add new content for evaluating the comprehensive operating ability of the nursingstudents. 2. Confirm the weight of the evaluation index system and assign it.3. Use the CIPP theory to assess the nursing students to find the problem,andaccording to it ,provide advices for making teaching content and teaching plans.Continue to carry out the idea of the research1. On this basis, improve and enrich the content of evaluation index system.2.Evaluate the nursing students’achivements after improving the teaching contentsand plans, to determine whether the method is effective and feasible.
