Study Of Influence Factors On In-Patient Charges Of Ncms Patients Based On Rse Model And Sem Model

Objective:TO used recursive system models and the Structural Equation Modeling to describe the distribution of hospitalization expenses of NCMS patients and analyze its influence factors.The results will be compared with each other. So as to discuss suitable statistics methods for such research and provide decision reference for government, health administrative authority to formulate feasible policy.Methods:Collected all information of NCMS patients in one of2A hospitals in2010.Set up database with Excel2003, used SPSS13.0and AMOS7.0to perform statistic description and single factor, multi-factor analysis.Results:Drug cost took the highest proportion,37.52%;the followings were other fee, treatment fee, operation fee, checkup fee, assay fee, daily room and nurse expenses. The top five diseases of the proportion of inpatients were delivery (22.79),injure and poison (17.9%),respiratory system disease (13.8%) circulation system disease (10.37%) and digestive system disease (7.68%).The top five diseases of expenses of inpatients were tumour(3055RMB), circulation system disease(2920RMB),injure and poison(2608RMB),delivery (1966RMB),Endocrine, nutritional and metabolic diseases(1960RMB). The main influence factors of hospitalization fees are days in hospital, situation, outcome., age, operation and the disease type.Conclusions:The proportion of medicine was highest; the diseases of high cost of inpatients are mainly circulatory system diseases, injuries, poisons; old, operation, die, be critically ill will expense much more money. We not only found out the meaningful factors but also found out the direct and indirect factors from them respectively by using the recursive system models and the Structural Equation Modeling. The research result of the two methods were not difference. There were difference advantage in the two methods. We can choose suitable models base on our research objective.
