| Object i vesCompareing the effect of treatment for surgical neck fracture of proximal humerus by swinging the shoulder with Philos, in order to provide convenience for treatment method for surgical neck fractures of proximal humerus and spread the treatment method of swinging the shoulder.MethodsReviewed and analyzed treated38cases of surgical neck fractures of proximal humerus treated by swinging the shoulder or Philos that can be fol lowed up during2005.9to2012.4in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of TCM,18cases in which were treated by swinging the shouldersPlints,20by Philos. Compared the effect of these two methods.According to the effect standard of Constant-Murley shoulder accessment, the scores in90~100average is excellent,80~89good,70~79moderate,0~70bad.ResultAll the cases were followed up for6months. After t Test, there was not any significant difference in the Constant-Murley Score or VAS Score between two groups(P>0.05).In swinging the shoulder group, all the fractures healed. No case suffered malunion. Two cases suffered shoulder starkness. No case suffered trauma of vascular or nerve. We found10exeellent,6good,2moderate, no bad with an88.89%exeellent-and-good rate in this group. The rate of complication is11.11%. In Philos group,all the fractures healed.No case suffered malunion. Two cases suffered shoulder starkness. No case suffered trauma of vascular or nerve. No case suffered incisional infection or fixed material failure. We found10exeel l ent,7good,3moderate, no bad with an85.00%exeellent-and-good rate in this group. The rate of complication is15.00%. After Chi-Square Test, there was not any significant difference in the rate of complication and exeellent-and-good between two groups(P>0.05).Concl us ionAccording to the results,there was no difference found in the rate of complication and exeellent-and-good between two groups. We concluded that swinging the shoulder and Philos both are effective treatment for surgical neck fractures of proximal humerus. |
