Clinical Research Of Auricular Acupoint Pressing In Calcaneal Fractures Postoperative Analgesia Effect

AbjectiveTo investigate about Auricular acupoint pressing in the calcaneal fracture postoperative for reaction of clinical effect to relief pain, strengthen sedation, reduced usage of analgesic drug and reduce adverse. Auricular acupoint pressing is safety.MethodStudy is used method of a randomized controlled clinical trial, from2011.5--2012.2in Foshan Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine with epidural block anesthesia operation for treatment of calcaneal fracture patients, eligible60cases, were randomly divided into treatment group, eligible of case are60cases, randomly divided into the group of Auricular acupoint pressing treatment (Auricular acupoint pressing and patient-controlled intravenous analgesia) are30cases; the group of controlling (patient-controlled intravenous analgesia) are30cases. Through the visual analogue scale;Likert pain relief scale and analgesic effects;the overall treatment satisfaction scale;Ramesay sedation score scale; analgesia pump total drug table; adverse effect scale (including nausea and vomiting, lethargy, itchy skin and urinary retention); skin irritant reaction score table and skin irritation strength evaluation of standard table, respectively postoperative5h、12h、24h、48h、72h by patients to record pain in VAS, postoperative12h、24h、48h by physicians record analgesia pump total drug, Likert relief of pain and sedation, and on the postoperative72h recorded a Likert pain relief and sedation. On postoperative three day, adverse effect scale and ear skin stimulus is evaluated. ResultsThe group of Auricular acupoint pressing treatment for the relief of pain, the strengthening of sedation, the reduced of analgesic medication used and the reduced of adverse reaction have notable effects; speicalty the relief of pain, the strengthening of sedation in Postoperative12h、24h effects is sure, in the Postoperative48h、72h results significantly better than the group of controlling (P<0.05);the reduced of analgesic medication used in the deactivated analgesia pump after total analgesic medication use is better than the group of controlling (P<0.05); the reduced of adverse reaction, vomiting effect is better than the group of controlling (P<0.05), sleepiness, reduced the incidence of pruritus aspects(P>0.05), not any significant changed in urinary retention. Auricular acupoint pressing on ear low skin irritation, it is safety.ConclusionAuricular acupoint pressing for calcaneal fracture after operation can effectively relieve pain, strengthen sedation, reduced analgesic medication used and reduced adverse reaction, improve the patients functional exercise and recovery effect, the ear skin irritation is safety.
