BackgroundAlong with social progress, more and more people pay attention to their grooming. Acne is a common clinical beauty-damaging disease, which affects face, chest and back, etc.Since the beginning of the tip size, acne vulgaris can develop into pustules, nodules, cysts, or scar formation. In particular, moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris, affects not only the appearance, but also affects people’s physical and mental health, resulting in bad mood, such as anxiety, depression, depression and anger.First of all, the clinical efficacy of treating acne vulgaris depends on an accurate diagnosis of its syndrome type. Treatment based on syndrome differentiation is the characteristic and advantage of Chinese medicine. Currently the acne disease diagnostic criteria of Chinese medicine can not cover all kinds of acne diseases, and it’s not feasible especially for moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris. Various views from various groups on medical treatments of acne, categorizations and stages, leading to a variety of acne diagnosis, inconsistent categorizations and non-standardizations. What’s more, the clinical efficacy can not be widely recognized, and poor reproducibility, affects the clinical application、promotion and to further improvement of the efficacy. Hence, current researches rarely focus on the regulations of TCM syndromes through clinical cases of moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris.ObjectivesTo re-finish out the new syndrome types of moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris, through the study on the existing research result of moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris in syndrome type and physique, so as to improve the TCM syndrome diagnosis and treatment level and clinical efficacy on moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris.MethodsTo strictly follow the diagnostic standard of moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris, and select200cases of moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris patients, in the dermatology and acupuncture departments of Guangdong Hospital of TCM main branch and Ersha branch. Conducting cross-sectional observation on the patients in clinical epidemiological method, to category the acnes’syndromes, according to the dialectical classification of acne in<<TCM Syndrome Diagnostic Efficacy Standard》. If it can not be categorized, re-diagnose it according to the distribution of physical and facial acne, in order to find the new TCM syndromes in moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris.ResultTCM syndromes of moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris results:the combination of physical factors by the four diagnostic indicators of moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris patients, not found in the lung by wind-heat syndrome type and its TCM syndromes in addition to hot and humid Accumulation, sputum wet condensation type certificate, the still clip wet spleen and kidney yang wang. Wet highest proportion of spleen and kidney yang folder, accounting40%, followed by Phlegmy wet condensation, accounting for24%; Damp and hot accumulate knot, accounting for15%; and fire excess from yin deficiency, accounting for13%.ConclusionThis study explores the TCM distribution of moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris and its possible influencing factors. TCM syndrome type of moderate to severe acne vulgaris:heat Accumulation of phlegm condensation, spleen and kidney yang dampness and wang. The findings also suggest that the spleen and kidney yang clip wet the majority of the main reasons is due to the influencing factors of the climate of the South, southerners physical factors as well as part of this study defects.
