ObjectivesLower extremity deep vein thrombosis(DVT)is relatively common after total hip arthroplasty(THA). Leg swelling is the common symptom after THA, and Steroid-induced avascular necrosis of the femoral head(SANFH) of deficiency of kidney and blood stasis type is more likely to occur in patients with lower limb swelling.Through the observation of clinical data between lower limb swelling and DVT following THA of ONFH,try to explore lower limb swelling with DVT correlation study, using statistical method.MethodsPatient:2011June-December, in-patients following THA the observed group (deficiency of kidney and blood stasis type):40cases including16males and24females mean age47.9±8.68y (26-56y). The control group:not deficiency of kidney and blood stasis type patients42cases including23males and19females mean age62.1±10.18y(34-72y). The laboratory tests (Fbg, D-dimer) and calves circumference below10cm tibial tuberosity were assessed on admission day, and the statistical analysis was condueted using a Mann-whitney Test and Multiple Linear Regression; The two groups were received the same treatmentrLigustrazine hydrochloride injection and Rivaroxaban after surgery. Besides, The assessment (laboratory tests andcalves circumference below10cm tibial tuberosity)were tested on lth postoperative day and7th postoperative day including ultrasonography test of the lower limbs. The results were analyzed by statisties SPSS17.0software package. ResultsThrough variance analysis, there was significant difference in calves circumference below10cm tibial tuberosity were measured after THA7days, besides, leg swelling and Fbg d-dimer had no significant correlation. The two groups leg swelling combined with Fbg and D-dimer show:the evaluation result of accuracy of diagnostic values is61.9%,58.8%.Conclusion1. Limb swelling time of ONFH of deficiency of kidney and blood stasis type is longer, and a greater degree.2. If leg swelling below10cm tibial tuberosity combined with Fbg and D-dimer after THA was negative to exclude DVT is more reliable。3. Leg swelling below10cm tibial tuberosity combined with Fbg and D-dimer after THA can initially applied for the prediction and diagnosis early DVT.
