The Study Of Massage Of Yishen Jianpi As Early Intervention To Premature Infants

Object iveA randomized controlled trial was conducted to objectively assess the clinical efficacy of the Massage of Yishenjianpi and the Infant Touch of the premature infants. The effects of the two groups are compared to see whether there is superiority of the Massage of Yishenjianpi as early intervention on premature infant.MethodsA randomized controlled trial was conducted.82premature infants without BDS were collected, randomly divided into two groups. Each has41group members. The experimental group received the treatment of Massage of Yishenjianpi combined with routine intervention of early education. The control group received Infant Touch combined with early education, too. They had assessment of physical development with weight, stature and head circumference; intelligent development with gross motor, fine motor, social adaptation, social intercourse behavior, and language. They had assessments before intervention, after1-month and after3-month’s intervention. All the data would be put into excel and analyzed by SPSS13.0.Results1. Before treatment, the two groups had no discrepancy in basic clinic information of retrieved moon’s age, weight, stature, head circumference and NBNA’s mean score (P＞0.05).2. After3-month’s treatment, the two groups all have significant difference in physical and intelligent development compared to the beginning of treatment (P＜0.01)3. After3-month’s treatment, the experimental group have gained more value than the control group in the physical development, with significant difference (P＜0.05).Though it had higher value than the control group in the intelligent development, but it showed no statistically difference between the two (P>0.05).ConclusionBoth The Massage of Yishenjianpi and the Infant Touch can promote the premature infants’physical and intelligent development. After3-month’s treatment, the Massage of Yishenjianpi has more significant effect on the physical development than the Infant Touch. But in the intelligent development, there is no comparability between the two.
