Objective:To study levels of body mass index (BMI), blood pressure (BP), three serum indexes: fasting plasma glucose (FPG), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and mental health status, then comparing psychological states under different physiological indicators levels. Methods:The objects were the crowd from international health centers of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University2010, taking routine physical examination and psychological examination. Body mass index, blood pressure, fasting plasma glucose, triglycerides and low density lipoprotein cholesterol were measured by enzymatic methods. The research used Symptom Checklist-90(SCL-90) Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) according with the unified guidance language to make an independent self-assessment. The results were statistically analyzed.Results:1. A total of2450people participated in the examination,1567males (63.96%), and883females (36.04%). Among the different age groups, differences of BMI, SBP, DBP, FPG, TG, LDL-C were statistically significant(P<0.05). All subscores of SCL-90except for paranoid, SAS standard score, SDS standard score were higher in females than males, and there were different in somatization, depression, anxiety, fear, other factors, SAS standard score, SDS standard score between females and males (P<0.05). Interpersonal sensitivity score, SAS standard score, SDS standard scores of the subjects were higher than the national norm, subscore of somatization, interpersonal sensitivity, anxiety, hostility, fear, psychotism, other factors, and SAS standard score. SDS standard score were different (P<0.05). All the subscores of SCL-90apart from somatization, SDS standard score were different statistically(P<0.01) among different age groups.2. According to BMI, the obese group’s subscores in obsession, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, fear and other factors of SCL-90. SAS standard score were different with normal weight group (P<0.05). The differences were statistically significant when high-TG group compared with normal lipid group in scores to obsession (P<0.01) and depression (P<0.01) of SCL-90, SAS standard score (P<0.05), SDS standard score (P<0.01). Only the obsession factor of SCL-90was different (P<0.05) between high-LDL-C group and the normal lipid group. There were significant differences in obsession factor of SCL-90and SDS standard score(P<0.01), depression, anxiety factor and SAS standard score (P <0.05) between high-TG&high-LDL-C group and the normal lipid group.3. The results showed the negative correlation between BMI and subscres of obsession, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, fear, other factor of SCL-90, SAS standard score, SDS standard score; the negative correlation between systolic blood pressure and subscres of obsession, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, paranoia, psychotism, other factor; the negative correlation between diastolic blood pressure and subscres of obsession, depression, anxiety, psychotic, other factor, SAS standard score; the negative correlation between FPG and subscres of obsession, interpersonal sensitivity; the negative correlation between TG and subscres of obsession, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, fear, SDS standard score, the negative correlation between LDL-C and subscres of anxiety. Conclusions:Most of healthy people had health problems such as obesity, hypertension, hyperglycosemia, hyperlipidemia. The results showed the negative correlation between physiological indexs and psychological indicators. We should change people’s traditional view of health and eating habits, increasing physical activity to access to physical and mental both health.
