| Background and Objective:Cervical cancer is the second most common malignant tumor after breast cancer for women in the world. Human papillomavirus (HPV) has been shown to be the etiologic agent of cervical cancer. More than100HPV sub-genotypes have been characterized, and the distribution of HPV sub-genotypes is various in geographical areas and populations. Current available prophylactic HPV vaccines, which are based on the epidemiologic date in European and American, based on HPV-16and-18sub-genotypes. In order to find out regional specific HPV vaccine the HPV sub-genotype distribution in that area should be checked. In this study the purpose is to analysis the prevalence of HPV infection and relative impact factors among married women in Taizhou, China. Methods:376volunteers women were checked for HPV and LCT from January to December,2010in Taizhou Central Hospital. Questionnaire was using for following up after screening the HPV and LCT. Further colpscopy and biopsy diagnosis were needed if HPV and LCT screen reported abnormal or suspicious.Results:The study found infection rate was22.07%, and the high risk sub-genotype viruses (HR-HPV) infection are21.01%. The first forth infection viruses are type16,52、39、58. The high risk sub-genotype viruses infection rate is decreasing as the age increasing. That means the highest infection rate appearing in age group20-30, positive rate is24.19%. The younger sex intercourse is the higher infection, HR-HPV positive rates are30%、23.08%、17.28%in age group<20,20-24,>25. More sex partner is more chance infection, the HR-HPV infection rates are23.25%and18.01%in≥2partners and1partner.Conclusion:HPV infection rate and virus classification are little difference among women in Taizhou and other cities in China. Sub-genotype39was the highest incidence. Life style is positive factor which influence the infection of high risk type HPV virus. Currently LCT checking and HPV testing are the best combination for cervical cancer screening. |
