Objective:Compared to the differences of operation ti me, blood loss, the time of recovery of bowel function, rate of postoperativecomplications, postoperative hospital day and1-year survival rate between therena l carcinoma with r retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy(RLRN) and pen radical nephrectomy (ORN),in order to compare the efficacyand safety on renal carcinoma with retroperitoneal laparoscopic partialnephrectomy(RLPN) and open partial nephrectomy(OPN).Methods: A total of71cases, suffering from renal carcinoma fromJune2009to January2011in our hospital were analyzed retrospectively.33patients who underwent retroperitoneoscopic radical nephrectomy,including25male and8female, aged from37to79yearsold, median age is52.7years old.38patients who underwent open radical nephrectomy for renal carcinoma,including29male and9female, aged from31to74yearsold, median age is51.3years old. Compared to the differences of operation ti me, blood loss, thetime of recovery of bowel function, rate of postoperativecomplications, postoperative hospital day1-year survival rate between the twogroup. Results:The operation ti me, blood loss, the time of recovery of bowelfunction, postoperative hospital day of RLRN and OPN group were (121.1±15.9)) m i n and (92.3±8.4) m i n,(101.3±17.5)ml and(170.0±30.2)ml,20.1±3.1h and29.1±4.7h,(7.30±2.41) d and (10.10±2.19)d, there w asstatistical significance between the two groups(P <0.05).The rate ofpostoperative complications were3.3%(1/33) and5.3%(2/38), there wasnosignificant difference between the the two groups (P>0.05).The follow-up of the two groups was without recurrence and m etastasis. The1-year survivalrate was100%.Conclusion: Retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy is efficacyand safety, it has the advantage of smaller operation trauma and fasterrecovery, but has the disadvantate of longer operating time and more expensiveoperation cost. Along with the advancement of medical technique, retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy will be applied to thetreatment of renal cell carcinoma.
