Objective To evaluate the effect of reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament and posterior cruciate ligament with Allografts of B-PT-B.Methods From February2007to July2010, twenty-two patients who underwent bone-patellar tendon-bone allograft for cruciate ligament reconstruction were reviewed retrospectively, including21males and1females (female) with average age of36.7(22~53years old). Left knee13cases, right knee9cases. Patients were evaluated preoperatively and postoperatively. Subjective measures included Lysholm questionnaire, Objective measures included, Lachman test, Pivot shift test. The complications of postoperative patients were also recorded.Results22cases were followed up with an average of23.3months(5~42months).21cases were followed up,only1case lost follow-up. The mean Lysholm score post operation was (19.6±3.6) points (15~30points), significantly higher than preoperation.which was (83.9±16.2) points (41±99points)(P<0.05). One patient’s B-PT-B was observed to be stretched, others’Lachman test and Pivot shift test were negative or clearly better than post operation. No significant complications and bacterial or virus infection were found for all patients. Conclusion Allograft B-PT-B in clinical application cruciate ligament reconstruction is safe and effective, which avoid the damage caused by autologous materials and complications, so it is the good autologous tissue substitute.
