Objective:Through a study on clinical features and relative factors of peptic ulcer diseases found in Taiyuan Central Hospital patients cases, to make an analysis of major relative factors of peptic ulcer and to provide scientific basis for early clinical prevention measures against peptic ulcer. Methods:A case-collection method:randomly selecting205cases from patients with peptic ulcer diagnosed cases recorded by the Endoscopy Room of Taiyuan Central Hospital from February2011to February2012; making object-related indicators detection and survey concerning general information, NSAIDs, psychological factors, dietary history, life habits, history of disease, and etc, according to a uniform criteria of selection and exclusion; SPSS13.0statistical software was used to do statistical analysis.Results:1Among all the205cases of peptic ulcer patients who reach the selection criteria,150cases are male(73.2%),55cases are female(26.8%); average age50.32years of age(±17.49).2As to whether taking NSAIDs, the comparison between the two groups in age, gender, past history, gastrointestinal symptoms was statistically significant. In the taking-NSAIDs-group, the proportion of patients over60years and that of patients suffering from multiple ulcers (P<0.05) are both large. The proportion of patients who previously suffered from cerebral blood vessels or ulcer bleeding is also large(P<0.01). Helicobacter pylori infection takes higher percentage on the whole.3Symptom check list90assessed in patients with peptic ulcer suggests a positive rate of33.66%(69/205), the order of the major psychological problems is anxiety, depression, interpersonal sensitivity, obsession, hostility, phobia, somatization, paranoid, psychotic. And Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Depression Scale assessment of patients with peptic ulcer shows that the number of cases of depression and anxiety modules is bigger compared with the national module.4The proportion of people who have bad habits in smoking, drinking, and sleeping is obviously higher than normal in patients with peptic ulcer. And so is that of people who prefer for piquancy food, crude fiber food, sweets, and deep-fried food. The Behavior and Way of Living Univariate Logistic Regression Analysis shows that many factors are closely related to the incidence of peptic ulcerConclusion: 1Peptic ulcer relative factors include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, helicobacter pylori infection, excessive drinking, smoking, psychological abnormality, bad diet and living habits, and etc.2Peptic ulcer is a chronic process, patients’ symptoms may continuously change as the state of disease fluctuates. For PU patients, while we apply medical therapy, we may at the same time help them understand the disease etiology, symptoms, treatment and health care knowledge for effective prevention, to raise their self-evaluation of the prognosis of the disease, to eliminate anxiety and depression, and to improve their confidence.3It is important to give right guidance to people during clinical consultation concerning PU prevention and treatment. It is helpful to remind people, particularly men, to maintain healthy life style, including living a disciplinary life, paying attention to rest, quitting bad habits like drinking and smoking, and developing healthy diet which means small meals, less piquancy and crude-fiber food, less sweets and deep-fried food, and so on.
