ObjectiveTo understand the needs of nursing students about network learning, build a resourceful Psychiatric Nursing Learning Website, and apply the Learning Website to the teaching practice of psychiatric nursing, explore its effect in the teaching, provide the basis for the Network Information era teaching reform of the psychiatric nursing.MethodsThrough literature review, analyzing the learning needs of the students who will be using the Psychiatric Nursing Learning Website, we designed the content and modules of Psychiatric Nursing Learning Website. Further evaluation of development effectiveness was conducted when Web site was built and run stably. In order to apply the Website of psychiatric nursing in the teaching practice of the nursing students, a convenient sample of undergraduate nursing students of Zhengzhou University, which was comprised of by123students in grade2009. The methods of the combination of classroom study and student landing Learning Website after classroom was used in the study. After the test, questionnaire and semi-structured interview were conducted to evaluate the application effect of the Learning Website. The questionnaire included attitude towards Website learning and recognition of questionnaires, Site usage questionnaire and Site learning environment and learning function questionnaire. To analyze the data, the Statistical software of15.0was utilized, statistical methods includs Percentage and Frequency and X±S of descriptive statistical analysis. Phenomenological analysis of Colaizzi is used to analyze the qualitative data for interview of students.Results1. Nursing students had good computer skills before the study,92.8%of the students could use the word processing software,80.2%of the students were willing to study through the psychiatric nursing network resources.2. Psychiatric Nursing Learning Website was designed and developed,which can be accessed via the internet on-campous and off-campous(Website is http://shuishou hn0002.vip28.dnsnn.com/index.html).Website is stable,highlytechnical,resourceful, updated in a timely manner, the interface is simple, beautiful, basically achieving the desired goals.3. Psychiatric experts and Educational technology experts were invited to evaluate the development effectiveness of the site, The results showed that:learning content(3.41±0.32),learning function(2.73±0.21),interface design(1.32±0.09),technical performance(1.24±0.19).4. Application effect in the teaching practice about Psychiatric Nursing Learning Website4.1Attitudes and acceptance of Website learning:The total score was(44.15±3.24),72.1%of the students hold positive attitude toward and high-level recognition of the site,14.2%medium,13.7%lower.4.2Use of the website:Students were more interested in visiting the Web site and download resources. Per capita post4.4.4.3Web learning environment and learning function:The total score was (64.26±5.39), all scores from high to low as follows:Learning content, teacher support, web design, interaction and technical support.4.4The interview data was analyzed using Colaizzi’s phenomenological method, four main concepts of the learning experience landing Learning Website are drew, which are:e:①Students shows interest in the website learning, also great desire to learn. ②Students felt frustrated when encountered difficulties.(.③Persistence would lead to the formation of E-learning habit④Once the students felt they have learned knowledge through the learning method, their interest in psychiatric nursing also boosted.Conclusion1. Psychiatric Nursing Learning Website was designed and developed, which was resourceful, timely updated, artistic, technical, able to meet the needs of students.2. Students’ learning attitude toward psychiatric nursing and acceptance of the website are satisfactory, both learning environments and the assessment of its function are in a high level.3. The Psychiatric Nursing Learning Website has achieved a satisfactory effect in the teaching practice, which reflects the fact that the website is a useful complement to classroom teaching.
