Background:The Pathophysiological changes of pregnancy uterine fibroids with red degeneration were mainly induced by uterine muscle hypertrophy. It is stimulated by the sex hormone changes of estrogen and progesterone during pregnancy. The local blood perfusion obstacles were easy to be induced because of the uterine fibroids growing quickly and the blood is in a higher coagulation state. Then the ischemic death and inflammation of tissue cells will be induced secondarily. At present, there is no effective treatment in clinical, and the conservative therapy was priority to give during uterine fibroids with red degeneration in Gestational Period. Objective:To observe the curative effects by low-dose heparin in the treatment of uterine fibroids with red degeneration in gestational period, and to observe the changes of coagulation function and hemorheology in the blood. Methods:The clinical data of21cases of uterine fibroids with red degeneration in gestational period in our hospital were divided into low-dose heparin group (n=12) and conventional treatment group (n=9). All of the patients was without other complications, and the blood clotting index was normal. The intravenous drip of magnesium sulfate and antibiotics conservative treatment were performed in research group and the control group. An additional small doses of heparin (50mg/10%glucose/500ml/day) intravenous drip was performed in research group. Drugs were used until4days later to fibroids pain and tenderness disappears. Results:No patients in the two groups had premature delivery or miscarriage, or underwent simply emergency myomectomy followed by uterine fibroids with red degeneration. The relief of abdominal pain and uterine contraction, and the recovery of body temperature in low-dose heparin group were significantly shorter than that in the control group respectively (p<0.05). There was no changes in plasma prothrombin time (PT) and activation of plasma of thrombin time (APTT) in low-dose heparin group (p>0.05). The blood viscosity was no significant change in the two groups. There was also no changes about GP Ⅱ/Ⅲa、P-selecting (CD62P) and vWf(p>0.05) in two groups.Conclusion:1. The effect of combination of low-dose heparin with conventional treatment on uterine fibroids with red degeneration in gestational period is better than that of conventional use of magnesium sulfate and antibiotics. 2. The coagulation function and hemorheology have no obvious changes in combined application of small doses of heparin in uterine fibroids with red degeneration in gestational period.
