The Clinical Effect Of Uterine Arterial Embolization In The Treatment Of Uterine Fibroids

Objectives: To investigate the effect of uterine artery embolization in the treat-ment of uterine fibroids and the effect on ovarian function.Methods: Collected in September 2014 to January 2016 in our hospital voluntarily accept 50 patients with uterine artery embolization in treatment of uterine fibroids,in 3 to 7 days after menstruation clean,Seldinger technology is adopted to improve the femoral artery pu-ncture,bilateral uterine artery confirmed by angiography after uterine artery emboli-zation.Results: Uterine artery embolization was successfully performed in 50 patie-nts,a part of patients appeared varying degrees of abdominal pain,fever,a small amount of vaginal bleeding,liquid discharge and other symptoms in postoperative1~3d.Most can improve after 4~6ds,all no serious complications occurred.50 pati-ents do B-mode ultrasonography in the postoperative March,June,December respe-ctively to exceed check tumors and uterus volume,postoperative follow up of pati-ents with hemoglobin,luteinizing homone and follicle-stimulating hormone level,multiple time points of repeated measurement data use repetitive measure analysis of variance first of all,then comparing two paired t-test,the results showed the ut-erus and tumors volume shrinking as the UAE time extended,the uterus and tumors shrinking are progressive,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);UAE postoperative 3 months,6 months and 12 months than preoperative hemoglob in level with varying degrees of increase,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);UAE preoperative and postoperative 3 months,6 months,12 months of Follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing homone level had no obvious change,UAE preoperative there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Concl usion: The uterine artery embolization of uterine fibroids method is simple,small t-rauma,rapid recovery,and the influence on ovarian function after is small,is a n-ew safe and effective method in the treatment of uterine fibroids,have extensive application prospect in clinic.
