Objective To explore the possible high-risk factors for intractable postpartumhemorrhage and the reasonable clinical application of various processing andtreatment. Methods From March2002to December2011,totally36cases of intractablepostpartum hemorrhage maternal (group A) and100cases of non-refractorypostpartum hemorrhage maternal who were selected randomly(group B) wereadmitted in the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University, and the clinicaldata were analyzed retrospectively. In the meanwhile, the hospitalizations, complications of pregnancy, causes of bleeding, methods to stop bleeding andpregnancy outcome were compared between the two groups. The data was analyzed inthe chi-square test and non-rank-sum test using SPSS18.0statistical software.Results1, By comparing the two groups of mothers, the high-risk factors forintractable postpartum hemorrhage were clarified Furtherly, including the maternalage, history of previous flow, multiple pregnancy and cesarean section. Meanwhile thestill uterine atony, placental abnormalities and soft birth canal injury-based wereconfirmed as the main reason of intractable postpartum hemorrhage;2, hospitalizationsof the two groups were compared: the incidence of pregnancy complications includingacute renal failure, amniotic fluid embolism and Placental abruption in group A wassignificantly greater than that in group B; the amount of blood loss, blood transfusionproducts and the amount of days of hospitalization in group A was significantly morethan group B; the incidence of organ damage, DIC, shock, transferred to the ICU.,theincidence of postoperative infection and poor wound healing in group A weresignificantly higher than that in group B; the hemostatic measures in group A werealso significantly more complex than that in group B;3, In group A,29cases ofmaternal were suffered from varying degrees of organ failure, then were admitted inICU for positive symptomatic treatment. Finally, two cases were dead and two caseswere diagnosed as Xi Han Syndrome. Conclusion The serious complications caused by intractable postpartum hemorrhagewas one of the reasons that lead to maternal mortality. Senior citizens, the previousflow history, prolific, and cesarean section termination of pregnancy what were the high-risk factors of intractable postpartum hemorrhage should be vigilant. Individualtreatment such as selecting the appropriate treatment according to specific causescould reducd the fatalities of maternal effectively.
