The fresh rice straw was used for experiment material silage to study the effect of the previously fermented juice and sodium dehydrogenation on fermentation quality of rice straw silage, and used saturated alkane method to study the effect of rice straw silage on feed intake, the digestibility and production performance of beef cattle. In this assay, three experiments were designed to provide theoretical support and technical basis for the rational application of rice straw silage in beef cattle feeding.Experiment1Effects of different treatment on fermentation quality and nutrition value of rice straw silageA single factorial trait was designed to study the effect of the previously fermented juice and sodium dehydrogenation on fermentation quality and nutrition value of rice straw silage. After the silage of45days, sampled and preceeded sensory evaluation and laboratory assessment. The results showed that, add the previously fermented juice and sodium dehydrogenation can significantly improve the crude protein (CP) and lactic acid content of the feed, and significantly lower the pH value, ammonia nitrogen/total nitrogen values, acetic acid, butyric acid, neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber content compared with control group (P<0.05). Thus it can be seen, the previously fermented juice or sodium dehydrogenation can help to improve the quality of silage, and it has the best effect that add the previously fermented juice and sodium dehydrogenation at the same timeExperiment2The determination of intake and digestibility of rice straw silageTest with saturated alkane method,selected16bulls that hybrid between Simmental(about400kg in weight) and local cattle cow to randomly divided into two groups, used C33/C32alkanes as endogenous and exogenous indicator to feed the diet that rice straw silage and maize straw as the main source of fiber separately. Pre-feeding period of10days, a trial period of5days, collecting forage, feces and concentrate supplementation samples for laboratory determination. The results showed that, the dry matter intake of beef cattle on rice straw silage and maize straw is6.7+0.35kg/d,6.3±0.28kg/d, the difference was significant (P<0.05), digestibility was44.78±4.00%,40.40±4.79%, the difference was not significant (P>0.05). Feed intake of rice straw silage is better than maize straw.Experiment3Effects of rice straw silage on production performance of beef cattleIn this experiment, chose16normal development bulls that hybrid by weight about400kg the Simmental and local cattle cow, using single factor randomized block design. According to the principle that the age, weight should basic same or similar, random divided into treatment group and control group, each group of eight. Two groups of mixed concentrate level are exactly the same, the treatment group were fed rice straw silage, and the control group were fed maize straw, used barn feeding tied system. The pre-test period of10days to expelling parasite in vitro and in vivo and invigorating the stomach, the trial period of45days, during the test cattle can free access to water. The results showed that,on greenhouses full barn feeding conditions, rice straw silage fed fattening cattle can obtain a higher daily gain, each of cattle average daily gain was1.213kg,17.42%higher than control group. In the test group, the average earnings per cow revenue of46yuan more than the control group, the economic benefits had a40.35%increase compared with the control group; shows that fed rice straw silage can significantly improve the speed of beef cattle weight gain and economic efficiency, and rice straw silage feeding beef is feasible.
