The test was done for study on anti-heat stress function and Mechanism with traditional Mongolian medicine-Xilatang on cows. The test divided into basic test research and clinical trials. Basic test research was based on Kunming mice for normal breeding and40℃heating treatment. Clinical trials research was to choose12Holstein healthy cows that the production dates, parity, and lactation quantity are close as the research object. MTD was determined by irrigating the stomach, it showed that this Mongolian security dose chould get as high as120000mg/kg weight, and non-toxic. Animal serum enzymes, endocrine hormone levels, immune function and maintain behavior were mainly tested. The main test results showed:①the results of mice bodywgheit, carbon clearance method, MTT method was:Mongolian medicine-Xilatang had a tendency to improve the lymphoid organs index, the activity of NK cells and upregulating macrophage phagocytosis function.②The results of study on FCM(flow cytometry) research was:Mongolian medicine-Xilatang had functions to improve the percentage of CD3+T cells/CD4+T cells/CD19+B cells of mice, CD4+T cells significantly higher than heat stress group after heat stress2h/7d (p<0.05); CD19+B cells significantly higher after heat stress1h/2h/7d (p<0.05). It had the function to reduce the percentage of CD8+T cells, it significantly lower than heat stress group after heat stress1h/2h/7d (p<0.05). It had the function to improve CD4+/CD8+, it significantly higher than heat stress group after heat stress1h/2h/7d (p<0.05)③The results of Radioimmunoassay were:Mongolian medicine-Xilatang could improve the content of IL-2, IFN-y and IgG in a way.④The samples were tested by the microplate reader and ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometer, the results of test was:in the basic test research, Mongolian medicine-Xilatang could increase the content of TP、 ALB、GLU、AKP, after heat stress for7d GLU increased significantly (p<0.05), AKP of High dose group increased significantly (p<0.05); Xilatang could reduce the AST, ALT, CK, BUN, the content of BUN reached significant difference (p<0.05), CK of high dose group reached significant difference (p<0.05). It had the similar results in the clinical study, AKP of high dose group reached a extreme difference (p<0.01), CK reached significant difference (p<0.05).⑤The results of Radioimmunoassay was:in the basic test research, Mongolian medicine-Xilatang could reduce the contents of CORT, ACTH, INS, PG and E, in the Mongolian medicine high dose group, CORT reached extreme difference (p<0.01)compared with others; it can improve the contents of T3and T4, and T4reached significant difference (p<0.05). In the clinical trials research, the results were similar to the basic test research, T4of Mongolian medicine high dose group reached a significant difference (p<0.05) compared with others.⑥The results of Animal behavior determination:Mongolian medicine-Xilatang especially high dose group could greatly improve the food and water intake quantity (P<0.05) of mice, it could increase carry momentum; In the clinical study, Mongolian medicine-Xilatang could strengthen supersession of the cows, it could extend the resting time, ruminant time/number of platoon dung and number of urination all were significant difference (P<0.05). Mongolian medicine-Xilatang could improve cow’s appetite in a way.⑦The results of study on Far infrared remote sensing measuring temperature gun and Thermometer was:Mongolian medicine-Xilatang especially high dose group had the function of extreme significantly reducing average temperature (P<0.01), significantly reduce the average skin temperature (P<0.05), and significantly reduce the rectal temperature (P<0.05), it can reduce the rate of breathing (P>0.05).⑧The results of study on Milk ingredients analyzer was: Mongolian medicine-Xilatang could improve the lactose, SNF (Solids Non Fat), fat and lactoprotein percentage(P>O.05). conclusion:According to the results of the study, Mongolian medicine-Xilatang has the effect to the endocrine hormone/biochemical indicator of heat stress animals, it can reduce the histocyte damage by heat stress, it has the effect of regulating body metabolism, improving the appetite, increasing the food intake amount, improving specific immune and non-specific immune, increasing the protein synthesis, so as to improve the body’s anti-stress ability and cow production performance.
