255tobacco samples (B2F, C3F, X2F) of K326were collected from three tobacco-planting areas (Zhaoyang District, Yiliang County and Zhenxiong County) in Zhaotong from2009to2010evaluating the quality. The appearance quality, physical properties, chemical components and sensory quality were analyzed using fuzzy logic, correlation coefficient value method and analytic hierarchy process. The differences of tobacco quality in three areas and in three leaves position were compared. At the same time, the variation of tobacco quality in three areas was studied.1. K326tobacco leaves in three tobacco-planting areas in Zhaotong had distinguishing features of high appearance quality with orange color, good maturity, loose leaf structure, medium identification, good leaf oil and medium sensory quality with middle quality and quantity of aroma, higher concentration, lighter mixed gas, better combustibility and grey cigarette ash. The concentrations of chemical components and physical properties were inconsistent with lower equilibrium moisture content, lower fill value, higher stem content and lower potassium concentration.2. The mean quality score of K326tobacco in Zhaotong was0.7375with ranged from0.6536to0.8161. The results show that the score of appearance quality index was highest with0.8777, the second was sensory quality with0.8013, the third was chemical components and the physical properties index was the lowest0.5750and0.4910.3. The comprehensive quality from three tobacco-planting areas was compared: Zhaoyang>Zhenxiong>Yiliang. The difference in appearance quality was not significant, Yiliang was the higest and Zhenxiong was the lowest. The physical properties index of three areas had distinct differences, Zhenxiong was the best and Yiliang was the worst. The chemical components index was Zhaoyang>Zhenxiong>Yiliang. The index differencebetween Zhaoyang and Zhenxiong was not significant, but had extremely distinct differences with Yiliang. The sensory quality index difference of three tobacco-planting areas was significant, Zhaoyang was the highest and Yiliang was lower.4. The tobacco quality from different positions was compared. It shows that no significant differences were existed in the upper, middle and lower parts. The middle part was the best and the lower part was the worse. The appearance quality index and sensory quality index of three parts were not existed distinct differences:C3F>B2F>X2F. The physical property index was B2F>C3F>X2F and the chemical component index was X2F> C3F> B2F.5. Characteristics of variation for K326were analyzed. The results indicated that:(1) the coefficient of variation for physical property and chemical component index was higher than10%;(2) for appearance and sensory quality was lower than5%;(3) for comprehensive quality was lower than3%which indicated that the quality of Zhaotong K326tobacco leaves was stable.
